Location: Austin, Texas

Pay Range: $20 - $28 per hour

We are hiring a dedicated Male Senior Caregiver to provide compassionate care for an elderly couple in the Austin area. This role requires an individual who is not only skilled in caregiving but also sensitive to the unique needs of elderly clients. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment while promoting the clients' independence and dignity.

Key responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, medication management, transportation for errands or appointments, and companionship. We seek a caregiver who can establish a trusting relationship with the elderly couple and address their needs with respect and kindness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a caregiver or in a similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of basic physical care and first aid principles
• Ability to follow health and safety standards
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• Ability to handle physical demands of caregiving, including lifting and mobility assistance
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certifications in caregiving or related fields are a plus
• Background check and references required
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Experience in caring for elderly individuals preferred
